The Taylor Greene Memorial Scholarship is a $1,000.00 award offered annually to a West Pasco FC graduating senior Competitive or Recreational Player or Referee. The Scholarship is awarded at the West Pasco FC Awards Banquet in May.
Lee and Jane Greene established the fund in memory of their daughter Taylor Greene.
The purpose of this fund is to assist graduating West Pasco FC seniors continue their education.
Candidates for assistance from this scholarship fund:
- Must meet the standards for admission to college and provide a letter of acceptance to a college.
- Must maintain a 3.2 grade-point average.
- Must be students of good ability and character.
- Must currently be a member in good standing and have been a member of WPYSA for the majority of their club soccer career.
West Pasco FC's regular Scholarship Committee in consultation with the Director of Coaching will select recipients.

The United Soccer Association will be awarding Joan Judd Grants for the twenty first consecutive year, in the Spring of 2010. In the past 21 years, four hundred twenty-four soccer players have received $500.00 - $750.00 each, for a total of $227,250! In 2009, forty-three players were awarded grants. These grants are awarded to recognize outstanding young women and men of the community, who are soccer players and who have plans to continue their education beyond high school. This year, the USA Executive Board is authorized to offer scholarship amounts between $500 and $1000.00, for those students who meet eligibility requirements. The deadline is March 17th, 2010. West Pasco FC provides scholarships to graduating Competitive Players who meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must maintain a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.3
through their senior year.
- Applicants must be a West Pasco Competitive player their senior year
of High School.
- Applicants are to provide a letter of acceptance to a Community
College or University.
- Applicants must be a positive player on the field as verified by
their coach.
- Applicants are to provide two other letters of
recommendation from a teacher, employer, or another Club or
High School Coach, etc.
- Applicants' Competitive Coach must also complete
a letter of recommendation stating the type of player they are.
- Applicants are to write a short letter stating why they are
deserving of the scholarship money, and what their goals are for school.
