West Pasco FC has a tremendous amount of raw talent in our Recreational division. The Select Program encourages the talented to step up to the next level. The Select Scouts monitor the U8-U10 players throughout the Recreational season to identify and invite certain players to join the Select Advanced Training Program.
The trainers in the Select program are some of the best in the area. They bring to the program a vast playing and training experience. The Select program consists of 17 sessions facilitated by
Kalin Bankov (former MLS and Bulgarian National Team player) and Ljubomir Korda (semi-professional in Croatia).
We are constantly working to improve on this successful program, which was created to give each player a better understanding of the game, with great focus on the technical development of the young athlete. Players who graduate Select, go on into our Academy where they continue their high level of training.
Selected players will receive a letter of invitation at the end of the Recreational season. This letter will ask the parents to attend a meeting where they will learn more about the Select Program and meet the Director of Select, the Academy Director, the Trainers and the Director of Coaching.
